Took Ronan to Meadow creek to school today, and we had a blast! I'm moving him up a level for the shows this season...thought it's be a good idea to school him somewhere else where he hadn't seen any of the jumps.
None of the jumps were numbered or flagged so I'm sure we did some that were higher than novice, but he didn't have any problems.Going through the water at the bottom of a steep hill, then up the other side of the hilland over a fence at the top.
Seems to really love cross country.
His first Novice level event is at the end of September. Go Ronan!

Hey Sarah -
This is probably the weirdest, most "out of the blue" comment you'll ever get - but we used to know each other about 20 years ago - in Ewing, NJ. We were pretty much best friends through all of elementary school. I'm really hoping you remember me, otherwise I'll feel a little silly.
Anyway, since this is somewhat of a public comment on your blog, I'll keep it short. I found you while I was practicing some new internet research techniques for my job. Occassionally I like to try out my research handiwork using the names of old friends, and who would have ever guessed that I would actually be able to find you.
I'd love to hear from you. I read a little about you from the blog of course, but it might be fun to catch up on what's been going on for the last 20 years!
You can email me at mishsea@yahoo.com since I posted this "anonymously."
Hope to hear from you!
Holly Michel (from Brophy Drive)
You write very well.
